NATAL CHART CHARLES MANSON
Charles Manson was the leader of a group of followers
(most of them women) that killed Sharon Tate and her guests in Hollywood. In prison he became a songwriter and singer. This is his natal
chart. It should be read knowing the conditions: his mother was an alcoholic
and his father was unknown.
The chart of Charles Manson is in short:
1. Saturn opposition Mars/Pluto with Mars and
2. Mars and Neptune opposition ASC/MC
Those most important midpoint combinations produce the
most important facts: the issue of unnatural death and the crucial importance
of Neptune, symbol of art and drugs and Mars,
symbol of aggression.
This strange chart has so many chances. And so many traps. Look at ruler Midheaven, Saturn in the 22nd
degree. In the midpoint combination with Mars/Pluto the finger points at this
Saturn. The 22nd degree is not an easy one, as it seems. And …look
at Ceres, exactly square Ascendant. Ceres is the symbol of genes and roots. To
most of us genes and roots are important. But in the case of Charles Manson the
genes and roots were of crucial importance.
SUN SATURN URANUS (restricted freedom)
Sun square Saturn reflects the fact that his mistakes
were highlighted. Saturn rules Midheaven (and the position in society) and is
67.5 (sesquisemisquare) Uranus. The issue of
restricted freedom is linked to his life and position by the Sun and by the MC.
Saturn is also square Venus, so that females are involved.
ARTIST
The artist in the chart is visualized by Venus, linked
to the elevated Moon, Midheaven and Neptune.
The artistic talent is shown by Neptune
opposition ASC/MC. Mercury, Mars and Venus are in aspect with Jupiter/Pluto,
promising success in communications, in what he does, in art and/or love. Jupiter is in aspect with Venus/Pluto and Sun/Pluto.
There is a range of promising aspects and possibilities.
MIDPOINT COMBINATIONS (showing violent tendencies)
Like in many charts of criminals who were influenced
by drugs, Uranus and Neptune combinations are frequent. There are frequent
Mars/Uranus/Neptune combinations and Mars is conjunct Neptune
and sesquisquare Uranus. Saturn is in aspect with Uranus/Neptune, too. Look at the chart of Klaas Bruinsma, murdered
drugs dealer, to see the same kind of combinations. Some interpretations of the
midpoint combinations in this chart:
- Sun/Mars/Pluto (3 times!!!): an enormous drive and energy or potential,
also in sex (being the ‘strong man’)
- Mars/Saturnus/Pluto
(he has Saturn opposition Mars/Pluto): exhaustion, violent situations, using
violence against yourself or others, wanting to win in spite of resistance (I
name this the combination of unnatural death).
- Mars/Pluto/Ascendant:
fanatic drive and energy colliding with the outside world, competition, violent
relations or the abuse of power.
- Uranus/Pluto/MC:
radical change of career or being a radical as a career.
- Uranus/Pluto/Node:
sudden change of social group, rebellion against group codes.
- Mars/Saturn/Uranus: sudden lack of
energy, burnout, accidents or nervous break down.
- Pluto/Ascendant/MC:
being a fanatic or expert, fascinating and impressing or influencing others.
