Saturns’ ingress in Leo was on the16th of July. Like if it was for the
first time astrologers all over the world announce changes. So let me give my
vision on this too.

Your chart en Saturn in Leo
If Leo in your chart is occupied by Sun, Moon, one of the planets,
ascendant or MC you will have a transit conjunction of Saturn in the next two
years.
And if it is Aquarius your positions are in, you face oppositions of the
transiting Leo.
But the changing of signs (and time) also effects
the world and politics. Saturn is the signe of the gouvernement.
From Cancer to Leo in Holland
Saturn in Leo I think is better for Holland and Dutch economy.
Saturn in Cancer has always been very sober and economic. The earlier release of
salary savings (alowing you to save a certain amount of money with a benefit arrangement if you do not spend the money for 4 years) without having to pay taxes is a move to make the Dutch spend more
money. But will it have effect? The economic government will turn into a sunny
government and will sound louder. I doubt if it will do any good.
Saturn is not strong in Leo at all. It is a clerk sitting on the throne wearing
a beautiful head, but still it is fake. Imagine our
sever minister of finance, Zalm, with a suitcase full of economic measures in
the disadvantage of the people standing in a beautiful and rich decorated hall
where a party is to begin in due time and you know: it is misplacement.
The ingress of Saturn in Leo is with Sun in Cancer. A weakly placed Sun. There will be few
support from ‘above’ or from a healthier economy.
Restrictions, limitations, responsibilities and law shadow the goal:
luxury, greatness and more sunny times. Above all Saturn is not aspecting the
other planets. A stand alone!
Like in the first years after WW II (1046-1948) leaders will go trough
tough times and must remain cold blooded.
Government and royalty in Holland (Saturn =government, Leo is king)
What will Saturn in Leo mean for Dutch government?
Saturn is transitting the eleventh house of the Balkenende II-crew,
limiting expectations and aspirations. Prime minister
Balkenende will have Saturn conjunct natal Venus (ruler Xth house and IIIrd
house). Would the discussions about next years
finances (to be presented in September) already be that heavy?
All institutions and status quo’s will see
heavy times. In 1946-1948 there was a lot of commotion in the colonies leading
to a revolution, as an example.
Queen Beatrix has a stellium in Aquarius. When Neptune
transitted this stellium gossip, miscalculations and secrets damaged her image. With Saturn in Leo
being a queen could be harder and harder and she might start feeling ‘old age’
or have a health problem.
With Saturn transitting his MC in June July of 2007 her son and heir
prince William-Alexander could fact a heavier load to carry.
Midpoints when Saturn ingresses Leo
Saturns’midpointaspects hardly get cheerful
interpretations. And Saturn at the ingress points is exactly at the midpoint
Ascendant/MC, making circumstances heavy. And yes, around 16th of
July of 2005 there is little good news in the newspapers for stabilising
(Saturn) leaderships (Leo).
Other midpoints Saturn aspects: Mercury-Jupiter – progress in business-,
Moon/Jupiter – the peoples’ confidence – Jupiter/Neptune – faith and religion
-, Sun/MC – the bright prospects-.
Saturn breaks off all this midpoints of optimism and faith.
Ebertin has little good to mention on these combinations:
Insecure decision making, not being able to rejoice,
plans failing, a negative attitude and sorrow.
Conclusion
Saturn ingresses at the wrong moment. But fortunately
this guest in the house of Leo will not stay for too long. Right after an
ideological conflict with Neptune in Aquarius in June of 2007
Saturn will enter the house of Virgo on 3rd of September of 2007. And in that
house of usefulness and realism Saturn will feel at home and detailed work can
be done. Plus: Jupiter will be strongly placed in Sagittarius by then. That is good for visions and gives good prospects.
