Nederlandse toelichting: Wat gebeurt er met Saturn als deze planeet
zwak is geplaatst maar in een ‘goed’ huis en met goede aspecten? Ik vind dat de
harmonische aspecten de uitkomst van de zwakte van het karakter door plaatsing
in teken helpen tegengaan. Ook vind ik dat Saturnus in het tiende huis alleen
als goed geplaatst kan worden beschouwd omdat Saturnus daar het best kan doen
wat deze planeet wenst: inperken, (publiekelijk) afstraffen en beëindigen.
Zelfs met goede aspecten van Saturnus is een zekere beschaming te verwachten.
In dit artikel in het Engels noem ik voorbeelden te over die mijn bevindingen
bevestigen.

pasa cuando Saturno es débil en su signo pero en una posicion favorable (de
casa) y con buenos aspectos ? Creo que esos aspectos buenos oponan el
resulto de la debilidad del caracter por positicion en signo. Creo también que
Saturno en la decima casa no esté en buena posición. Eso es
porque Saturno en la casa más publica puede hacer lo que desea : limitar,

What if Saturn is in a weak sign, such as Cancer or Aries but in a
‘good’ house and with harmonious aspects?
1. I think the harmonious aspects help
prevent the outcome of the weakness of the character shown in the placement of
the planet in sign.
2. I think Saturn in the tenth is well
placed in terms of the planets goal: to limit, to make it serious and
hard sometimes and if necessary in case of afflictions: to terminate a position
and make you fall or embarrased.
Maybe Saturn in a house indicates that
things the house stands for are limited or may come to an end, or
lessen (fame, for example, a position).
Just my opinion: I consider the good
aspects as a sign for 'help coming on the way. Saturn is never an easy planet
to deal with'. Even more when Saturn is in a 'wrong' sign, in
which case it won't be easy to achieve the goal of control. Experiences
or emotions get in the way when in Cancer, pride when in Leo and anger or
impulses when in Aries.

Some examples
Did you know Michelangelo had Saturn
retrogade in Cancer (135 Moon, trine Mars, both in Pisces)? (besides:
Da Vinci had a retrograde Saturn in Libra in the tenth, trine Mars, too).
Honoré de Balzac had Saturn in Cancer in the 11th, well aspected. The poet
Puschkin had Saturn in Cancer in the tenth together with Moon, Mercury and
Venus.. So at least weak Saturns in sign do not stop
you from making art...
BTW In the case of the BTK-murderer
Saturn is in Cancer is making a 135 aspect to Mars. There is mutual reception with
the Moon in Capricorn. This is not very helpful. A murderer with disciplined
methods...
2. I think Saturn in the tenth is well

Some examples:
In Bill
Clintons'case Saturn did not cause his fall.because of the good
aspects. Saturn in the tenth in the charts of Napoleon and Hitler
were afflicted. Saturn in the tenth might refer to the
limitations of goals and to punishment if you go beyond your reach. And an
embarrasment anyway! Like with Clinton and Uri Geller (the 'spoonbender' having
Saturn in Leo in the tenth well aspected - he fell a few positions off the stairs
but was not thrown before the lions or decapitated).
Maybe Saturn in a house indicates that
things the house stands for may come to an end or lessen, like fame or
your position.
Thinking about charts of:
a. George W. Bush has an unaspected Saturn in Cancer
in the 12th (good placement, though?), squaring his MC. Should this indicate a
fall or political end due to illness? I think all presidents must end
their job sometimes....
b. Footballplayer Johan Cruijff has Saturn in Leo
(r6) square Sun (had a heartattack at young age) but trine Venus
(longlasting marriage - up to now) in the twelfth square MC (orb 7,5 degree).
Well, footballers have to stop sometimes...
c. Britney Spears (!) has a Saturn in Libra in the
first, afflicted a.o. by Venus (ruler 1). (besides:
Maybe an indication for the fear of getting older and loose her attraction?)
BTW Is Saturn in the 10th a
good position good anyway, I wonder? It certainly indicates that you may
want to be taken seriously. But I'd rather have Jupiter in the tenth...
