ARIES settles things
The sign of Aries rises when Pluto is right above our head. That means that the effect of Pluto is strongly felt for those born under Aries or with an Aries Ascendant or with the progressed Sun in Aries. Money, politics, strength, reorganizations, come backs, surviving, and challenges: those are the important things for Aries in the year to come.
Aries born between March 21 and April 7 will have to deal with Saturn, the planet of shortcomings, responsibilities, guilt, respect and formalities. Obligations towards the partner or society might make you feel restricted and that scares you. But Saturn's influence has a positive side: this period forces you to have a serious look at the way you are living and why. You are about to settle things in 2010, maybe for good!
Not all Aries are that serious, however. Those who are born on March 21, 22 or 23 have an advantage. In the summer time they enjoy a transit of Jupiter! Jupiter is the planet of progress and development, help and understanding. The early Aries will benefit from the transit of Jupiter in 2010. The others will follow in 2011!
TAURUS will not be beaten
The sign of Taurus is attached to possessions. In 2010 the world crises might take something away from that. But... that won't turn Taurus down. They will make trips and expand whenever they want to. Only the Taurus born between 14 and 19 May must take care because they can be the object of gossip due to Neptune's square to their Sun. Those born from 17 May on will get support and see progress, only if they don't speculate too much and if they avoid self indulgence. Then even romance blooms, especially in April, with Venus in Taurus. Your ascendant in Taurus also benefits from the transit of Venus in April, if you can tell yourself not to make it too sweet.
GEMINI deserves it!
Geminis just love to earn and profit this year. But they will also enjoy love and falling in love. Late Geminis (born from June 15) may risk being on front of the tabloids! That is only so if they act on impulse and don't think about their position. If they manage to take care they will look back at 2010 with content, just like the other Geminis who expanded their network.
While other signs work like slaves, Gemini tends to take it easy this year and ...they might succeed in doing so. Jupiter is square their sign, supporting them unless they go too far. Your holiday and a perfect time for love can be planned (can it?:) from April 25 till May 20. With an Ascendant in Gemini you will look at best in that period.
CANCERS turn the wheel of fortune...
With Pluto and Uranus on prominent spots in the sky the sign of Cancer rises with the issue of new impulse and big changes or challenges on any possible territory. The Cancers born on 24, 25 or 26 June might feel a lot of stress. Last year Prince William had the same transit as they will have and he planned his future role. Maybe you should do the same.
Cancer will have more hectic days in 2010 and many Cancers will (have to) take this opportunity to make a switch. Those who were born in the first 9 days of July might see more duties and obligations than others, but...there is some compensation. The Moon is in Cancer when the year starts, so that the (second hand) trends of 2010 might well fit you, except when your natal Moon was in Leo at the time of birth. Leo Moons want to show off.
LEO marches...
Leo has a great start this year, with more energy then ever. They will do more sport or work harder thanks to a special 'drive to make it'. Didn't Leo Obama say that he regarded the Nobel Prize as a call for action? Well, he is a Leo and he goes for it in 2010, too. You won't see him on parties that much. Privacy first in 2010 and work behind the screeens! That doesn't sound like Leo, and of course they compensate this in another filed. They might start useless discussions, even arguing against all odds, almost even starting a row! Please, even if you are on fire and justice is on your side, try to avoid this. Late Leo: take care for gossip and secret affairs.
VIRGO is developing...
Virgo will be often there where they can do what they like most: telling others how to do it the proper way! You will meet Virgo in foundations, political parties and in discussions on television, of course. Virgo must remind that what comes around goes around, and that it matters what they invest. Study and traveling will be part of that idea. Cooperation with others will be beneficial, so have a partner or join a community.
The sign Virgo is efficient and the sign of services, but those Virgo's can also be very 'cool'. Attractive Virgos born after September 16 have to look over their shoulders or count to ten if they don't want to be known for an affair. Some of them won't mind and want to break free anyway. Especially in early May and when they are born on September 21 or 22...

LIBRA adds some weight
In 2010 most Libras are busy with their career or position in the family. There might be fundamental changes there. The crises also touches Libra and so their will be obligations, financial changes and irregularities that sometimes disgust Libra. They want to live in peace, why doesn't their lucky star help them? They just have to manage things and they can.
Libras born around the 14th of October might have to deal with (pleasant or unpleasant) surprises. Very late Libras (born October 21, 22 or 23) can look foreword to a pleasant week early September and another one in November (to keep things in balance and have double fun). The advice for Libras is to be fair and take care for contracts. Perhaps they just need to do things a little less (like eating) and put their weight in another scale.
SCORPIO wants to move on
Scorpio is vigilant sign, but Scorpio also dares! Perhaps that is why some Scorpios or people with Venus in Scorpio feel a stronger effect of the financial crises than other sun signs do. Everybody feels the pain of the economical situation, so does Scorpio, but they will find it hard to spend less on traveling or studying. That is because this year the sign of Scorpio rises with the Moon in the ninth house, reflecting a need to develop and grow. Of course: you can study at home, live abroad or spend more time on the international internet to fulfill these needs.
Many Scorpios will move on with patience in 2010 and then starts September! Wow! From September till January Venus will be in Scorpio! Venus is the planet of joy, fulfilling wishes, love and pleasure. The move through Scorpio will be in the benefit of the Scorpios! Enjoy those months and plan your holidays and vacations in the final four months, Scorpio! Just one little warning: when your birthday is later than November 16, take care not to feed the tabloids!
SAGITTARIUS goes back to the basics
Sagittarius starts the year with Ceres in their sign. That could indicate a new trend for Sagittarius: purity! They will go for home cooking, natural ingredients, grandma's recipes, nostalgia and country sides in 2010. Back to the basics and back to the roots!
There will be some changes in private live and it will be harder than usual to get used to them, perhaps. The big challenge for Sagittarius will be getting used to changes! However, lucky Sagittarius will always find support and help, also in 2010. Jupiter is the planet of the Sagittarians and is square the Sagittarian Sun. If they don't overdo it and are not counting on it, Jupiter will be on their side in 2010, too! Take care but do what Jupiter asks you to do: to travel, develop and move ahead. Some Sagittarians will go very far...If you are the kind of Sag who wants to make the world a better place or who wants to improve the world, then this is the perfect year to make a start: with yourself! It will be easy, you just have to skipp everything with 'too' before the word.
CAPRICORNS economize together
Capricorns have to spend less in 2010 and would they mind much? They are always careful how to spend money! But there is a new issue for them in 2010: MAKING money! It will be of vital importance to have an income or to find ways to make money. Not just because of the crisis. The effect of the crisis is most felt for the Capricorns born before Xmas, but they will also benefit from improvements in the first quarter of the year. Most Capricorns want to have a partner now. They also value the idea of status, reputation and decency. Sometimes there is a conflict between those two. Parents and parenthood might also be important in 2010!
Late Capricorns (born from 17 January) will get more security, safety and respect starting from April until August!
AQUARIANS take life seriously
Aquarius doesn't live a life of luxury in 2010; it will be a very ordinary lifestyle this year. They will excel in being useful for the community, friends and family.
Last year the Aquarians were most lucky. This year in January only the late Aquarian will have a vital opportunity to grow, but that is it. Then Saturn takes over to consolidate it, if they were born before February 15. They will manage to control they way they live and get respect doing so.
2010 will be the final year of the 'plague' of Neptune in Aquarius in mutual reception with Uranus in Pisces. How can the planet of mist and mystery feel at home in the sign of clearness and fresh air!? How can the planet of technology feel at ease in the sign of dreams and fantasy? Only in a Star Trek journal, I guess. The Uranus-Neptune influence was sometimes very disturbing and led to slander and shame in the world of astrology, too. So, it cost the Aquarian much to keep his usual logical spirit up high. In the second half of 2010 early Aquarians born in January will already feel the stabilizing influence of Saturn, the planet that is still ruling them in classical astrology. It will give the Aquarian more self respect.
PISCES have a jubilee (a year of Jupiter)
Pisces have a Jupiter year now that Jupiter is moving through their sign from February on. If your sign is Pisces, or your Ascendant is or you have the progressed Sun in Pisces, than behold! This is the year for more of everything: more support, more help, more understanding, growth and development. Late Pisces might even sense a relief in this year. Just like for Sagittarians, the Pisces will have Ceres in a prominent place in their hearts. That means that purity, genes, the art of home cooking, agriculture, earthly business and motherly care will be above all of importance in 2010. Maybe Pisces will have an urge to do creative games, play with children or fall in love (you choose which one!).
Is your Ascendant in Pisces? The passage of Jupiter over your Ascendant might bring sudden prominence. Obama got the Nobel Prize with Jupiter over his Ascendant. Maybe that is not your price, and you will only gain weight, quit smoking or get more support. But you will certainly feel better!
